3. Walking & Trekking Requirements
Meghalaya’s natural wonders, such as the Living Root Bridges and certain waterfalls, are accessible via stone stairs and natural pathways. While the Single-Decker Root Bridge in Mawlynnong requires only a moderate, family-friendly walk, we advise elderly family members to pack comfortable walking shoes and pace themselves accordingly.
